Hannie May is an actor and model based in Los Angeles, working across both dramatic and commercial roles in film and television. 

Performance has shaped Hannie’s sense of self since she was young. Starting with dance showcases, Hannie discovered that those few minutes on stage—expressing herself freely—felt like the core of who she was. Initially, she didn’t see performing as a career and had to see it more like a creative outlet, studying communication at a British academic college while doing print modeling part-time — where she truly discovered how much she loved the emotional connection you can have with the camera.

After her second year in college, Hannie found herself in a difficult place—uncertain and questioning who she really was. It was a turning point that made her realize she couldn’t ignore the passion she had kept inside for so long. Trusting herself, she made the bold decision to move to Los Angeles alone and pursue acting wholeheartedly, dedicating herself fully to the craft she had always dreamed of.

Born in Xinjiang, China, Hannie brings a unique cultural perspective to her work and is fluent in Mandarin and English. Outside of acting, she enjoys spending time with her dogs and playing the piano.
